Terms of Use
Guides send descriptions of their walks for moderation, Tripster (hereinafter referred to as us) reviews them. All proposals are tested, we make sure that the walk can be carried out with high quality, and if everything converges, we publish it on the website. Quality assurance is our highest priority, so all proposals are pre-moderated. We do not charge any fees for posting offers on the site. You can also send photos that you intend to publish as a description of the tour. The photos you choose must not infringe the rights of third parties. The tripster checks the photos for eligibility for publication

We act as a guide’s agent and help him find travelers, attract an audience through various channels, and generally do a lot to make a walk, excursion or master class popular. For this, we take a commission from the cost assigned by the guide. This money is used to ensure that you have orders and their number is constantly increasing. We deduct the agency commission from the money that the traveler pays on the site as a partial prepayment for the tour.

Booking an excursion
Travelers contact the guide through the site, agree on a mutually convenient meeting time. The guide confirms the order, and the traveler makes an advance payment for the tour. After prepayment, the tour is considered booked, and the guide and traveler receive each other’s contacts — phone number and email.

We have a convenient correspondence system when ordering, notifications of new comments are immediately sent to the mail, so there is no need to disclose your contacts until the prepayment is made.

The remaining cost is paid by travelers to the guide directly after the end of the walk.

Conducting an excursion
After exchanging contacts, the guide and the traveler decide between themselves all the questions and warn each other about any changes. If something changes, you must immediately contact the other party and warn about it.

Both the guide and the traveler should be punctual and not be late for a meeting, because the other side may get upset from this. We provide for the possibility of canceling the walk in case of a significant delay. At the same time, if the guide is late, we can return the advance payment to the traveler upon request. If the traveler is late, the guide may refuse the tour, in which case the prepayment is not refundable.

Safety is the guide’s top priority during the tour. Take care of each other. The guide is also obliged to conduct excursions in accordance with the description published on the site, or as the guide and the traveler previously agreed. After all, this is exactly what travelers are counting on.

After the end of the tour, the traveler pays the rest of the cost to the guide, and the guide signs the ticket for the tour — when booking, we make a beautiful memo with contacts and the amount of the remaining payment so that nothing is forgotten, it is worth printing it out. The ticket can be kept as a keepsake or as proof of payment.

Cancel Reservation
If a traveler has a trip interrupted, they can cancel the booking and we will issue a refund in accordance with our refund policy.

If the guide has unforeseen circumstances and the tour needs to be canceled, you must immediately warn the traveler about this and make sure that the traveler has heard you. Also write about the cancellation to us at [email protected], we will refund the prepayment.

Service provision
The Consumer of the Services is the Traveler.

Tripster provides the Supplier with the Tripster platform, and does not own, create, sell, resell, control, offer, provide, operate the Supplier’s Service, is not responsible to the Guide and / or other third parties for the accuracy and / or relevance information posted on the platform, is not obliged to represent the interests of the Guide in the event of disagreements between the Guide and the Traveler, is not responsible for the provision of services by the Service Provider.

Tripster does not accept payments on its own, being an agent for collecting funds made in favor of the Service Provider.

The Service Providers are solely responsible for the publication and operation of the "Online Tours".

When providing its services, Tripster is guided by the laws of Cyprus.

Return policy
You can cancel your order free of charge no later than 48 hours before the start of the excursion or tour. If the order is canceled for a shorter period, the prepayment is not refundable.

We will refund all prepayment in case of cancellation of the order for a tour or tour guide.

We do not refund money for the purchase of tickets, payment of fees and other expenses associated with the conduct of the excursion or tour, which were spent according to your agreement with the guide.

Cancellation under force majeure circumstances
We will refund the prepayment amount less than 48 hours before the start of the excursion or tour in case of:

Flight delays or cancellations that prevent you from being able to get on a tour or excursion. We will ask you to provide confirmation from the airline or from the airport: a photo of the board with the status of the flight or a screenshot from the official website of the airport.

An unexpected illness or injury that prevents travel. As proof, we need a doctor’s note.

The introduction of measures to counteract coronavirus infection in the region of the excursion or tour, excluding your participation in them.

Promo code instead of prepayment
Instead of a prepayment refund, you can purchase a promotional code for the same amount plus an additional 20% of its value as a gift.

You can use the promotional code as a prepayment for a new order.

The promotional code can not be used in full — the unused part of its face value will be converted into a new promotional code for future orders, which can be found in your account in the "Promo codes" section.

You can use the promotional code at any time — its validity period is not limited.

The promo code can be used to order any excursion or tour, with the exception of tickets and some excursions, on the page of which there is a special restriction.

By exchanging an advance payment for a promo code in this way, you actually buy a promo code with a face value that is 20% higher than the previously made prepayment. Due to this:

such a procedure completely replaces the return of funds previously deposited as an advance payment,

in the future, it is impossible to return the money paid as an advance payment,

Refunds in the amount of the face value of the promotional code are not possible.

Cancellation Policy for Museum Tickets
We will not be able to refund the cost of museum tickets if the order for them is cancelled.

Payment Security
When paying for an order with a bank card, the payment processing (including entering the card number) takes place on a secure page of the processing system, which has passed international certification.

This means that confidential data (card details) are not sent to our website, their processing is completely protected and no one, including ourselves, can get your banking data.

When working with card data, the information security standard developed by the international payment systems Visa and MasterCard — Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is used, which ensures the safe processing of the details of the Holder’s Bank Card. The applied data transfer technology guarantees the security of transactions with Bank cards through the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS), Verified by Visa, Secure Code protocols, and closed banking networks with the highest degree of protection.
